90th Sacramento City Junior Golf Championship/Peggy Dodds Memorial Crowns Champions at Haggin Oaks

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The 90th Sacramento City Junior Golf Championship/Peggy Dodds Memorial concluded recently at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, with junior golfers ages 7–18 competing across two days, July 8-9. Players in the 12–18 age divisions competed on the championship-level Alister MacKenzie Course. 

Lane Martin claimed the Overall Boys Champion title (ages 16-18/14–15) with rounds of 70/75/145, playing the 14-15 age group. 

Abigail Hong earned the Overall Girls Champion title (ages 16-18/14–15) with a score of 72/74/146 in a playoff against Vivian Li with a score of 74/72/146 in the 14-15 age group.

Boys 16–18 Division winner Clay Vogel (76/72/148) won in a card off over second place, Lucas Wang with a score of 75/73/148; third place Issac Kim with a score of 75/73/148.

In the Girls 16–18 Division, Nailah Jackson won with a score of 75/72/147; second place Sophia Peters with a score of 72/76/148; third place Alexis Chu with a score of 74/77/151.

In the Boys 14–15 Division, winner was James Danna with a score of 76/73/149, second place Brandon Stewart with a score of 76/76/152; Cy McKrell with a score of 78/75/153.

Girls 14–15 Division winner Vivian Lee with a score of 71/72/146; second place Irene Hur with a score of 70/78/148; third place Yilin Xia with a score of 77/73/150.

Boys 12–13 winner was, in a card-off, Ian Chong 76/69/145 against Cole Vieira with 72/72/145; third place Harrison Elliott with a score of 81/77/158. 

Girls 12–13 division winner was Emma Wang with a score of 73/73/146; second place Madison Roycroft (74/81/155); third place Norah Lewis (86/83/169).

Players ages 7–11 competed on the nine-hole Arcade Creek Course. 

Boys 10–11 winner was Dean Moring with a score of 36/35/71 in a playoff against Sebastian Shea who with a score of 39/32/71 took second; and Duke Bakovic, with a score of 35/36/71 took third.

Girls 10–11 winner: Samantha Alexi Alvarez took home the trophy with a score of 38/37/75; second place, Arya Tirazona with a score of 38/39/77; and third place Viviano Katikala with a score of 40/41/84.

Boys 7–9 winner was Jeremy Jin with a score of 36/37/73.

Girls 7-9 winner was Madison Thomas with a score of 49/46/95; second place Camila Luna scoring 53/49/102.
